Specializing in Design, Manufacture, Erection & Commissioning of Pulp, Paper & Board Machines.
Khalsa Engineering Works was established in the year 1968 and specializes in the Design, Manufacture, Erection & Commissioning of Pulp, Paper & Board Machines of Capacity ranging from 3 TPD to 150 TPD for making different kinds of Paper & Board.
We manufacture Complete Plants for manufacturing of Writing-Printing Paper, News Print, Kraft Paper, Test Liner, Fluting Media, Poster Paper, Duplex Board, File Board, Grey Board, Mill / Cone Board, Straw Board etc. upto 4.5 Meter Deckle.
We manufacture Twin Wire Machine, Fourdrinier Machine, Cylinder Mould Machine, Cylinder Mould & Fourdrinier Combined Machine, Sundry Machine etc.
KHALSA made a modest beginning in the year 1968 in the field of manufacturing Paper & Board Plants. We bagged our first Order for Complete Plant in the year 1972 Attributing to our Modern Technology, Cordial Business Relation and Positive Attitude, KHALSA soon won the Confidence of its Customers and the Paper / Board Industry and thereby acquired a name and reputation as a reliable supplier in the Industry. KHALSA’s machines are designed to operate at highest possible overall Efficiency for achieving maximum corresponding reduction in Production Cost and Maintenance.
Vast experience of 42 years in the Industry now and our focused and persistent efforts in Research & Development have established KHALSA as a Leader in Paper & Board Machine Manufacturers in India.
KHALSA today has supplied more than 100 complete plants for Pulp, Paper & Board in the last 42 years and has supplied Equipments / Spares and Modified / Re-built about 100 others in India and abroad.
Besides, exports made to neighbouring and African countries is another feather in our cap. We bagged our first export order for Complete plants in the year 1981 and have never looked back since. Till date, we have supplied about 10 complete Pulp, Paper & Board Plants abroad.
Owing to our meritorious export performance, Engineering Export Promotion Council – an organization sponsored by Ministry of Commerce & Industries, Govt.of India – has awarded KHALSA with ‘Certificate of Export Excellence’ in recognition of our highest performance in the export of engineering goods in the Eastern Region 9 times for the year 1983, 1985, 1986, 1992, 1993, 1994, 2001, 2002 & 2004 and 'Trophy for Export Excellence' for the year 2003.
Besides, REPEAT ORDERS for Complete Plants placed with us by esteemed customers testify their absolute faith in KHALSA’s know-how and its approach and is a matter of immense pride to us.
To cope with the growing demand for KHALSA’s machines, we have continuously expanded our manufacturing facilities by establishing more Manufacturing Units and by adding latest and most modern Machine Tools. We have extensive, precise and most sophisticated manufacturing facilities for the manufacture of Quality Paper Machines in the shortest possible time span.
MANUFACTURING FACILITIES
KHALSA group has well established 3 modern Manufacturing Units situated at -
1) 62/ D/ 2, J.N.Mukherjee Road, Ghusury, Howrah, West Bengal,
2) N.H.2, Dankuni, Dist.Hooghly, Opp.Mother Dairy Factory, West Bengal and
3) Plot No.A2 & A3, Industrial Focal Point, Dist. Nawanshahr, Punjab.
Our workshops are equipped with latest state of the art Machine Tools for meeting stringent machining and fabrication requirement. Our manufacturing units have a total covered area of more than 60,000 sq.feet and open area of more than 1,25,000 sq.feet. Besides, several regular Machine Tools in various sizes like Planers, Borings, Shapers, Milling, Drilling Machines, we have ABRO make Dynamic Balancing Machine with 5 Ton Capacity for Balancing Rolls, Dryer Cylinders etc., Roll Grinding Machine, Gear Hobbing Machine, heavy duty Plate Rolling Machine, MIG Welding Machines, H.V.Metallizing Machine for M.G. S.S. Hard Chrome Coating, Stainless Steel coating of M.G.Dryer Cylinder.
Besides, we have a Team of highly competent Technical People who are richly experienced in their respective fields – design, procurement, manufacturing (machining, fabrication), erection / commissioning and who work with utmost dedication and sincerity to not only meet but to go beyond expectations of our Esteemed Customers.
We also have Computer Aided Design facilities for preparation all necessary drawings required for establishing a Paper Plant ranging from Machine Design, Plant Layout, Civil Foundation and Engineering, Pulp Mill Flow, Pipe Line Layout etc.
